As a Program Manager III within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. PNC is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager III to lead and coordinate critical initiatives supporting the technology organization's technology infrastructure programs; and other workstreams associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational transformation. This is a high-visibility role requiring extensive interaction with senior leadership, cross-functional technology teams, and key business stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive complex programs from planning through execution while ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and successful delivery of technology outcomes.

Requirements

  • Program management experience supporting technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology infrastructure, platform modernization, or technology delivery organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale organizational transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and technology deployment processes.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to confidently interact with senior leaders and effectively communicate program status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including Agile delivery methodologies and practices.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • University / college degree.
  • Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, enterprise technology initiatives supporting infrastructure.
  • Lead and coordinate technology workstreams associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational transformations.
  • Partner with senior technology leaders and stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Manage integration timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery of M&A-related initiatives.
  • Drive program governance, risk management, issue resolution, and executive-level reporting.
  • Coordinate across multiple technology teams to ensure dependencies, deliverables, and milestones are effectively managed.
  • Facilitate program ceremonies, status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive communications.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain project plans, dashboards, and reporting using project management tools.
  • Ensure alignment with technology standards, operational requirements, and organizational priorities.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability across diverse stakeholder groups to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy.
  • Leads the highest complexity programs/projects requiring extensive planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business.
  • Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals.
  • Oversight and reporting for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
  • Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.
  • Acts as a mentor to other program managers.
  • Teams with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.
