About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center is seeking a Program Manager to support the OBGYN Residency Program. This program provides four years of comprehensive training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, aiming to produce highly skilled OBGYNs prepared for general practice or further fellowship training. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing educational activities, developing complex master rotation schedules, managing the recruitment process, and creating dashboards for ACGME accreditation reporting. This role is essential for ensuring all accreditation and graduation requirements for residents are met. The position is part of a supportive team that values professional development and a family-like atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, manage and maintain operational systems and activities.
  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
  • Create the very complex master rotation schedule.
  • Oversee the recruitment process.
  • Create multiple dashboards to capture accreditation data needed for ACGME reporting.
