About The Position

GE Aerospace is seeking a Program Manager - DDTC Consent Agreement to lead the execution of key workstreams supporting the company’s trade compliance obligations under its Consent Agreement with the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and reporting program activities to ensure commitments, milestones, corrective actions, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time. Reporting to the Executive Leader, International Trade Compliance and partnering closely with the Chief Counsel for Regulatory Affairs, the Program Manager will work across Legal & Compliance, business teams, and other functional stakeholders to drive alignment, accountability, and timely execution. The ideal candidate is a strong program leader who can manage multiple complex initiatives in a matrixed and highly regulated environment. Prior International Trade Compliance experience is not required; however, experience in compliance, legal, or other regulated settings is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience in compliance, legal or other regulated settings OR Associates degree with minimum of 12 years of professional experience compliance, legal or other regulated settings OR High School Diploma with minimum of 14 years of professional experience compliance, legal or other regulated settings
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in compliance, legal or other regulated settings

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management for execution of the DDTC Consent Agreement, including integrated planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and closure of actions across multiple workstreams.
  • Plan and manage regular operating cadences, including weekly meetings, and partner with workstream owners to ensure commitments and milestones are delivered on time in alignment with Consent Agreement requirements and Special Compliance Officer (SCO) expectations.
  • Coordinate engagement with internal leaders and external stakeholders, as needed, including the Special Compliance Officer, external auditor, and DDTC.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports and briefing materials summarizing program progress, key risks, action items, resource needs, and overall performance against commitments.
  • Drive cross-functional execution of Consent Agreement requirements, including support for audits, digital transformation initiatives, training, and jurisdiction/classification validation activities.
  • Monitor, track, and escalate program risks, issues, and remediation actions, ensuring clear ownership, due dates, and completion criteria.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of processes, procedures, training, and governance mechanisms needed to sustain compliance commitments.
  • Apply lean and process improvement principles to strengthen program execution, action tracking, reporting, and operating rhythms.
  • Lead effectively in ambiguous or evolving situations, balancing long-term strategic priorities with urgent tactical actions and deadlines.
