About The Position

Dexis Professional Services (Dexis) is seeking a Contract Program Manager (PM) who will be responsible for the management and oversight of contract performance supporting the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). The PM will provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of a task order (TO), including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance. The PM shall be responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, including technical issues and business processes. The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) facilitates collaborative partnerships between the Department of War (DoW), venture-backed technology companies, and other non-traditional innovation communities to expand the national security innovation base and address national security challenges. The DIU enterprise encompasses expertise, capabilities, and relationships across several commercial technology areas; public and private sectors; academia; and other communities of interest both United States (U.S.)-based and internationally. The PM will oversee a contract providing back-office support services for DIU, so DIU can meet its objectives of accelerating the identification, acquisition, prototype, and transition of stable commercial technologies across the DoW, thus, delivering innovation at commercial speeds and greater scale with an emphasis on solutions most effective in a joint-warfighting environment. The contract will provide support in the areas of information technology (IT), security and facilities, contracting and acquisitions, program management support, strategic communications, Congressional affairs, resource management, human resources, office of the general counsel, and records management. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and will be based in Mountain View, CA at DIU’s headquarters location with flexibility to travel to other DIU sites including within the National Capital Region. This position is contingent upon contract award.
