About The Position

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery - All-Temp Distribution Center Operations Integration team (ATDC OI) team is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic and tactical, cross-functional operations and technology projects. In this role you will scope and create project plans, develop processes, coordinate and drive execution, and communicate to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. You will work with up to 10 different cross-functional teams, while coordinating work closely with dozens of individuals across our three distribution centers. OI team members are the network experts of the processes they own. This means they will spend significant time on-the-floor and with operators to have the knowledge needed to be successful. This position will be part of an exciting, fast moving and growing business team. The right person for this job will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with dedication to seeing projects through to the end. You will have an eye for detail and determination to turn-over high-quality work. You will be an integral part of the team. Requirements

  • 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
  • Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Identify, design, develop, implement, and execute new and existing processes, policies, goals, and solutions to ensure optimal customer experience related to fulfillment solutions.
  • Drive development efforts and manage priorities for project/program completion, including operational solutions.
  • Create schedules, identify and communicate risks to stakeholders, define risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate appropriate engineering solutions.
  • Develop system requirements to streamline and simplify tools used to manage and enhance operational productivity, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current or future fulfillment channel performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate with business systems and processes.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, supply chain, and fulfillment operations.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, and process documentation to monitor and analyze delivery performance and key business performance indicators.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and/or third party-vendors for implementation of project/program requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects, and using this data to drive/influence business decisions.
