About The Position

The Program Manager – Agile Delivery is accountable for ensuring work is delivered effectively, managing timelines, scope, risks, and stakeholder communication. The role operates as the execution leader within Agile teams, coordinating across product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive predictable, high‑quality outcomes. Agile Delivery Leads are responsible for: -Ensuring work gets delivered and is the accountable owner of execution predictability and owns delivery outcomes end to end -Collaborating closely with other roles to orchestrate end-to-end of delivery across business + technical domains -Facilitating an Agile operating model and embodies a product ownership mindset This is a hybrid position in Columbus, OH

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Five years in a project/program manager role or comparable work Experience
  • PMI- focused project management training or comparable training
  • Experience managing multiple medium to large scale IT projects simultaneously.
  • Project management certification recommended (PMP, PgMP, or PfMP) ; otherwise, a plan for attainment OR a graduate level Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Healthcare, or Business Administration
  • Eight years or more of IT project/program management experience in a healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background in executing delivery across multiple methodologies (e.g., hybrid, iterative, or agile-aligned approaches)
  • Understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and integrations
  • 3+ years in Agile software development environments
  • Agile/Scrum certification(s)
  • 7+ years of program or portfolio-level delivery experience, preferably within healthcare IT or similarly complex environments
  • 8+ years of IT project/program management experience in a healthcare setting (or comparable domain complexity

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing technology projects and/or programs running across one or multiple Lines of Business targeted at achieving overall business goals.
  • Responsible projects from initiation through implementation including multiple software development methods.
  • Establishes project requirements, priorities and deadlines.
  • Manages budgets of the project, monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities.
  • Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant OhioHealth IS PMO guidelines.
  • Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects.
  • Manages budget for assigned projects, monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly.
  • Develops plans and manages interdependencies between development teams and business units.
  • Publishes project status and executive reporting.
  • Being able to articulate exactly what is needed in the project, is critical, alongside the ability to actively play a vital role as a Business Analyst to gather all of the information.
  • We are looking for great communication skills and someone who can deal well ambiguity and is a self-starter, knows when to escalate when needed.
  • Interacts with senior leadership and cross line of business resources to deliver projects and programs.
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
  • As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
