About The Position

Drive and support DHL Supply Chain North America's digitalization and innovation strategy by leading deployments and serving as a subject matter expert in key technologies. The role involves travel to vendor and operational locations, working with Operations on continuous improvement initiatives, and providing expert guidance on digitalization efforts. Collaborate with business unit and global leaders to assess and develop strategic projects for deploying emerging technologies. Oversee the development of tools and documentation that support scalable technology adoption. Recommend vendor capabilities to leadership and guide business unit Innovation managers, leads, and Operations in vendor technology and project management. Work with vendors to enhance solutions and integrate them with strategic systems. Lead and direct others in support of Accelerated Digitalization strategic objectives.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a Logistics discipline.
5–10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Solutions Design, or Consulting in the supply chain industry.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in project management and implementation, operations management, or organization design and implementation.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
Education and/or certification in LEAN or Six Sigma.
Experience as a management consultant or in a strategic role in a supply chain function.

Responsibilities

Offer expert support and direction, including processes, tools, facilitation, and challenge, to advance the digitalization agenda and ensure successful execution.
Collaborate with vendors to understand technology capabilities, enhance solutions, provide business insights, and integrate solutions with strategic systems.
Work with sector, functional, and global heads and VPs, contributing strategic and innovative perspectives and helping deliver digitalization initiatives.
Provide subject matter expertise for strategic projects deploying technologies across DSC businesses and identify opportunities for technological advancement.
Oversee development of tools and documentation to facilitate technology adoption and operational scalability across North America.
Ensure alignment on critical strategic initiatives across the global organization.
Recommend vendor and technology capabilities to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
Guide Business Unit Innovation leadership on vendor technology, assessments, and project management strategies.
Lead and direct others in support of Accelerated Digitalization strategic objectives.
