About The Position

Liqid is seeking a Program Management Technical Specialist with strong technical aptitude across both electronic hardware and software development workflows. In this role, you will support project activities throughout the product lifecycle-helping engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners stay aligned on requirements, schedules, and deliverables. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, excels at organization and communication, and wants to grow deeper into hardware and software project coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Management, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or project support within hardware, firmware, or software development environments
  • Familiarity with electronic hardware development processes such as design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing
  • Understanding of software development workflows, including Agile, sprint planning, and release coordination
  • Experience supporting teams that work with contract manufacturers or OEMs
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Arena, MS Project, and Microsoft 365
  • Comfortable and proficient using AI tools (e.g., LLM assistants, coding copilots, research/analysis tools) as part of your daily workflow.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating HW projects with exposure to embedded software, firmware, and/or other software projects
  • Familiarity with Stage/Phase Gate development processes
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies
  • Interest in growing into full program management responsibilities
  • Preferred experience building or customizing AI-driven workflows, prompts, or automations that measurably improve your output, speed, or quality.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, scheduling, and tracking for hardware, with some firmware, and software development activities.
  • Assist with documentation, requirements updates, and milestone tracking from concept through production and release.
  • Coordinate communication between hardware engineering, software engineering, QA, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • Help maintain documentation flow, track build schedules, and support communication with contract manufacturers and ODM partners.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and blockers; escalate issues to program leadership as needed.
  • Assist with budget monitoring, cost tracking, and vendor documentation.
  • Support quality processes by tracking test results, validation activities, and release readiness.
  • Prepare status updates, dashboards, and project documentation for internal stakeholders.
