About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, Missouri, El Segundo, California, Everett or Tukwila, Washington. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience developing and delivering process improvement initiatives in complex, matrixed environments and presenting project plans to executive leadership
• More than 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
• More than 5 years of experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track “performance to plan” for a program/organization
• More than 5 years of experience with Program Management Best Practices
• More than 5 years of experience with the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) Process and Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) Checklist
• More than 5 years of experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project closeout
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification (current or in work)

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) on multiple programs
• Supports Program Start Up and Earned Value Management (EVM) execution and compliance with Program Management
• Provide Program Management Best Practice (PMBP) guidance and support across multiple programs
• Supports Rate Change Readiness (RCR) and Work Movement across multiple programs, working directly with Program Management teams and key functional stakeholders
• Supports implementation of Integrated Product Teams (IPT) structure on pilot programs
• Facilitates and ensures integration of project plans, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
• Coordinates commitments and communications with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic initiatives
• Engage (e.g. workshops, forums, training, etc.) the PM community on program management requirements, responsibilities, and best practices
• Represent senior management, as required, to communicate functional policy, strategy and direction
• Liaise with Enterprise, Industry, and Academic “Program Management” thought leaders to import best practices and shape our future as a function
