About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join their team in Huntington Beach, California. This role involves providing technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets, developing stakeholder relationships, conducting supplier assessments, and ensuring contractual compliance. The position requires a strong understanding of supply chain activities, risk management, and the ability to lead and communicate performance plans to stakeholders. The role is 100% onsite and operates on a 1st shift schedule.

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree (any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • More than 3 years of experience in program management within supplier management
  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
  • More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required)
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

  • Senior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets
  • Develops stakeholder relationships and evaluates performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts supplier assessments
  • Reviews current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance
  • Evaluates elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities
  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments
  • Develops current and projected work statement
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Develops and executes work movement plans
