About The Position

The F-35 Training and Logistics sub-market segment within the Training, Logistics, and Simulation (TLS) line of business at Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Program Manager with a strong background in managing large, complex contracts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth while ensuring customer satisfaction. The selected individual will report directly to the Program Management Director and receive operational guidance and oversight from the Production Portfolio Sr. Manager. This Program Manager role will be responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance supporting the F-35 Training Production and Site Activation portfolio. This Program Manager role will have program execution, capture, and proposal responsibilities. The position will work closely with the Production and Site Activation Program Management Senior Manager and Program Management team, functional managers, engineering, production operations, and the customer to manage the day-to-day program and proposal performance. The individual will develop and execute program strategies, plans, and budgets to achieve business objectives and meet customer requirements. The position will be responsible for proposals, execution, and team development. The selected individual needs to proactively work across all the multi-functional stakeholder team to ensure timely execution of program activities and demonstrate highly collaborative and effective communication skills with leadership. The role includes fostering relationships with other business areas to ensure strong execution on existing business as well as planning for future growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Previous program management experience
Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading distributed and virtual teams to include subcontractors
Demonstrated ability to establish positive customer relationship
Demonstrated business acumen to include EVMS and performance metrics
Experience identifying and leading through program performance issues
Risk and opportunity management
Demonstrated proposal management experience
Must have at a minimum an active Secret Clearance
Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

F-35 Management experience
Ability to interface and present to senior and executive leadership
Previous production and sustainment experience
Previous proposal experience
Knowledge of training sustainment, logistics, and supply chain management
Experience with Lockheed Martin's programs, policies, and procedures
Certification in program management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees.
