About The Position

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking Program Management Interns & Fellows to support field office leadership in setting up and maintaining management systems for the Justice System Transformation program. The role involves developing and revising management processes, overseeing the Detailed Implementation Plan, and structuring quarterly program reviews. IJM is a global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence, with a mission to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice unstoppable. This is a 12-month program from June 2027 to May 2028, with positions potentially available in various international offices including Accra, Bucharest, Lima, Guatemala City, San Salvador, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Manila. The specific responsibilities may vary based on experience level and office location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations (for Interns)
  • Project Management qualification (PMP®, Prince2® or similar certification) or graduate level qualification (for Fellows)
  • Three+ years of project management experience, ideally in culturally diverse settings and on complex projects (for Fellows)
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software and Windows strongly preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish required for Latin America offices

Responsibilities

  • Develop new/revised management processes and workflows (e.g., team composition; team functions; team meeting and communication practices; review and approval process for work packages; reporting/accountability system, tools, and templates)
  • Oversee management and revision of Detailed Implementation Plan (methods to update it from completed work; methods to predict and solve schedule conflicts and constraints)
  • Oversee/lead/develop structure for quarterly program reviews (attendance, process, inputs to IJM change control system, updates to program plans)
