Program Management Interns are responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions for the program management department, and serve as expediters for customer parts. Interns also ensure performance and quality of manufactured products conform to established company and regulatory standards, agency guidelines, and customer requirements. Interns can expect to gain experience in business communication (technical, presentation, and professional interpersonal), problem-solving, CNC Machining processes, Inventory and Data Management, Procurement & Supply Chain processes, ERP utilization, aerospace industry standards (AS9100), and general manufacturing and quality management systems. Generally, interns work a minimum of twelve (12) hours per week during standard office hours, typically in regularly scheduled blocks of at least three (3) hours each. During short-term scheduled school holiday and semester breaks, interns may be authorized to work up to forty (40) hours per work week.
