About The Position

Clarity Care is seeking a Program Lead to join their team in Marshfield. This role offers competitive pay, starting up to $21/hr based on experience, and is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. No prior experience or certifications are required, and hiring is immediate. The Program Lead will be responsible for supervising others, managing group home operations, and fostering a positive team environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, a passion for community involvement, and a desire to contribute to human services.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must meet agency driving standards.
  • Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.

  • Prefer an Associate degree or higher in a health care related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in a field other than health care, and one year experience working in a health care related field having direct contact working with and teaching persons with developmental disabilities; or possess a valid nursing home administrator’s license. (strongly preferred)
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hands on Caregiving. Provides direct care support to our members with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living; bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene as outlined by the individual service plan.
  • Be comfortable using mobility devices and practice safe transfer and ambulation techniques like in assisted living facilities.
  • Leads group home meetings and communicate changes with the home, consumers, staff, and organization to ensure everyone is informed and updated.
  • Collaborates with HR in hiring, retention, discipline, and termination processes to ensure qualified employees and adequate staffing.
  • Completes all applicable documentation related to tasks assigned.
  • Maintains a safe, sanitary and welcoming group home by performing housekeeping (vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom, dusting, bed making and changing linens); and laundry.
  • Prepares and Serves Meals by following general nutritional guidelines, menus, individual dietary restrictions, needs and preferences to ensure consumer health.
  • Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed by members during social and recreational activities.
