About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking a Procurement Intern to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 20267. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate procurement, directly contributing to operational efficiency and strategic projects. The intern will be an integral part of the Procurement team, providing key analytical support and assisting with projects that drive efficiency and improve processes. They will gain exposure to the full contract lifecycle, learn how data is used to make decisions, and contribute to a more streamlined and effective procurement function. This is an ideal position for someone who is intellectually curious and isn't afraid to jump in and solve problems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
• An outgoing and proactive personality who isn't afraid to ask questions and take initiative.
• Intellectually curious and can jump into a problem to find a solution.
• Driven, reliable, authentic, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and track contracts from creation to execution, contributing to a faster and more streamlined process.
• Use Excel skills to assist with market and contract pricing analysis for the 2028 S&E budgeting.
• Provide analytical capabilities to free up team members and assist with enhancements in systems like ServiceNow.
• Assist with Green Belt projects and other strategic initiatives.
• Bring fresh ideas and curiosity to help find new ways to improve processes and support stores.
