About The Position
Pilot Company is seeking a Procurement Intern to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 20267. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate procurement, focusing on operational efficiency and strategic projects. The intern will provide key analytical support, assist with projects, gain exposure to the contract lifecycle, and learn data-driven decision-making within the procurement function. This role is ideal for an intellectually curious student who is eager to solve problems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills.
- An outgoing and proactive personality who isn't afraid to ask questions and take initiative.
- Intellectually curious and able to jump into a problem to find a solution.
- Driven, reliable, authentic, and welcoming qualities.
Responsibilities
- Help manage and track contracts from creation to execution.
- Assist with market and contract pricing analysis for the 2028 S&E budgeting using Excel.
- Provide analytical capabilities to assist with enhancements in systems like ServiceNow.
- Assist with Green Belt projects and other strategic initiatives.
- Contribute fresh ideas to improve processes and support stores.
