About The Position

The Program Instructor provides engaging, supportive, and structured activities for adults with developmental disabilities. The role supports individuals in developing skills that promote independence, confidence, and quality of life. The instructor facilitates Adult Day Program activities, supports development of computer and basic technology skills, adapts activities to individual needs, and collaborates with team members on individualized goals. The position is located in Crafton, Pennsylvania, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is listed as $19–$21 per hour, with an enhanced-pay election available.

Requirements

• A high degree of flexibility, creativity, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A bachelor's or associate degree is preferred; candidates with a high school diploma and IDD experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Adult Day Program activities, including vocational training, independent living skills, cognitive and social development, leisure and recreational activities, and mobility, sensory, and perceptual motor skills.
• Support individuals in developing computer and basic technology skills.
• Encourage participation while adapting activities to meet individual needs.
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and person-centered approach.
• Collaborate with team members to support individualized goals.
