About The Position

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support program managers, the program finance manager, and the director of finance. This role involves preparing financial reports, managing program financial data, setting up cost collection systems, developing baselines and forecasts, and analyzing financial results. The analyst will also work closely with various departments to ensure accurate contract cost and schedule data, maintain compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and provide financial support to program managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 0-1+ years of financial analyst experience
  • Strong in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
  • Proven team player with excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive can-do work attitude
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial tracking reports to program teams
  • Create and/or maintain Excel reports containing program financial data
  • Set up charge number structures in cost collection and time recording tools
  • Develop and maintain baselines, estimates to complete (ETC), and estimates at completion (EAC) on programs
  • Assist in analysis of material, labor, subcontractor and other direct costs transactions
  • Analyze and update monthly forecast and variances for revenue, labor, material and other costs
  • Work closely with contracts, accounting, inventory and program office to ensure incorporation of contractual changes into control system to maintain accurate contract costs and schedule data
  • Analyze actual financial results with planned/forecasted results
  • Develop and maintain advanced spreadsheets for use in analyzing financial data
  • Provide financial support to program managers
  • Maintain compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
