About The Position

CACI is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join their team in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves program cost control and management, revenue and profit recognition and forecasting, customer reporting and invoicing support, direct and indirect rate analysis, annual and multi-year planning, monthly forecasting, program compliance with FAR and GAAP regulations, and program initial setup including project codes with work breakdown structure and billing setup. Duties may include contract accounting and reporting, project schedule focus to management, tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates, payroll/personnel processing, maintenance and reporting, contract administration, purchasing, facility leasing and service administration. The analyst will maintain contract budgets, prepare contract-billing, estimate materials, equipment, production costs, and delivery schedules. They will comply with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements. The role also involves monitoring program progress and cost performance against plans, performing financial/administrative reporting for contracts and/or programs, preparing and distributing reports to customers/user organizations, conducting financial analysis (variance, risk, profit/loss), and helping to create and maintain program resource plans. A primary focus is ensuring Annual Plan and Monthly Forecast submissions are accurately completed by specified due dates, with review and final submission by higher-level Finance Management. Routine and non-routine project financial reporting will be performed, including Project Profit and Loss Statements, Project Status Reports, Project Management Review (PMR) Reports, 75% Funding Notifications, Estimates to Complete, Estimates at Completion, Forecast and Budget Reports, and Invoice Backup Reports. This includes reviewing timecards, travel vouchers, payment allocations, and funding statements for compliance, and building complex spreadsheets and "What If" scenarios.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance
  • Must be able to build forecast from the ground up including application of wrap rates and correct burdens
  • Must be able to build reports and charts based on verbal guidance for various internal and external requirements
  • Must build and maintain accurate forecasts for active programs
  • Must be able to analyze plans, forecasts, actual costs, variances and communicate trends to the program, line, and financial management
  • Must be able to prepare adjusting journal entries, reconcile various types of accounts and invoices in a timely manner
  • Must be a quick study and highly adaptable problem solver to assist the Program Manager with the ever-changing needs of our clients and act as a backup for other PC Analysts on the team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a related field and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project related finance planning and analysis
  • Must be well experienced with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT Tables, etc)

  • Review and final submission is completed by the higher level of Finance Management within NSIS Finance Reporting
  • Perform routine and non-routine project financial reporting including, but not limited to: Project Profit and Loss Statements, Project Status Reports, Project Management Review (PMR) Reports, 75% Funding Notifications, Estimates to Complete, Estimates at Completion, Forecast and Budget Reports, Invoice Backup Reports, and various other client-specific reports
  • Reviewing timecards, travel vouchers, payment allocations, funding statements, etc. to verify all entries are compliant with policies and procedures
  • Building complex spreadsheets and "What If" scenarios
  • Review, analyze, and advise PMs on price models provided by Pricing Dept.
