About The Position

Davis Defense Group, Inc. is seeking a Program/Financial Analyst, Journeyman to support the Advanced Development Team within PMA 213. Initially, the focus will be on budget and cost analysis, and candidates with this skillset are highly desired. The role involves applying analytic techniques to evaluate program/project objectives, analyzing requirements, status, budgets, and schedules, and performing management, technical, or business case analyses. The analyst will collect, organize, and interpret data related to acquisitions and product programs, track program status and schedules, and apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control, and data management. This position is located in Patuxent River, MD, requires a Secret clearance, and offers a CWS schedule with situational telework. The estimated salary range is $110,000 - $125,000.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Proficient in MS. Office suite of applications.
  • BA/BS degree or related field or supplemental experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Navy Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) application.
  • 3 or more years’ experience supporting NAVAIR acquisition programs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze program/project financial plans and input data into approved trackers, Navy / PMA web applications.
  • Manage, review, engineering change proposals to assist in project planning / scheduling.
  • Assist in development of project planning, program documentation, and CDRL management in support of program efforts.
  • Provide acquisitions and programmatic support to leadership as required.
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapons/project acquisitions and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted process for documentation, change control management and data management.
