About The Position

CoreCivic is seeking a Program Facilitator to conduct programs for inmates/residents in group settings within residential and non-residential programs. The position interviews and assesses prospective participants to identify individual and group needs, then implements a range of programs using the standard curriculum. The facilitator creates a learning environment that supports participation and personal growth, coordinates participant information with staff and departments, maintains confidentiality, and evaluates participant progress and program completion.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess prospective program participants to determine individual and group needs.
• Plan, conduct, or facilitate program workshops and group activities, including discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and use of audio or visual aids and other curriculum materials.
• Follow the program’s standard curriculum and supervise program activities.
• Establish standards for behavior and participation and encourage inmates/residents to maintain them, fostering an environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Coordinate admissions, evaluations, program completion, and termination information with interested staff and departments.
• Maintain and monitor the confidentiality of inmate/resident and administrative files.
• Evaluate the progress of assigned inmates/residents and review their status to verify program completion.
