About The Position

As a part-time Program Facilitator at the Chanhassen, Minnesota location, you will facilitate impactful experiences for volunteers while supporting Feed My Starving Children’s mission to feed people who are hungry in body and spirit. The role includes providing hospitality, presenting the organization’s mission and food-production procedures, supporting meal-packing operations, and maintaining a clean, food-safe facility. Facilitators work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and lead a Christian prayer over packed meals, inviting volunteers to participate if they wish. The position offers a consistent weekly schedule that includes at least one weekday evening shift and an every-other-Saturday shift. New hires are paid $17.45 per hour. The part-time benefits package includes paid time off, vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, and an employee assistance program.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks during 6–8 hour shifts, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
Ability to repeatedly lift 30–50 pounds.
Ability to use hand tools such as utility knives.
High energy and ability to contribute in a fast-paced, team environment.
Willingness to lead a Christian prayer over packed meals; volunteer participation is optional.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet volunteers, answer questions, provide clear instructions, address concerns, and show appreciation.
Deliver engaging large-group presentations about FMSC’s mission, impact, and food-production procedures, while encouraging further contribution.
Perform warehousing tasks, including moving inventory with a pallet jack after receiving training.
Help packing sessions run smoothly by managing the flow of people and materials and tracking meal production.
Lead a Christian prayer over packed meals and invite volunteers to join if they wish.
Maintain a clean, food-safe facility by doing laundry, washing dishes, and cleaning floors, surfaces, and bathrooms.
Fill in where needed in a fast-paced, team environment.
