As a Program Excellence Coordinator, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing direct support, oversight, guidance, and training to enhance the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health and residential treatment services. This position will collaborate closely with program and clinical staff, quality and compliance departments, leadership, and external stakeholders to promote best practices, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, and organizational standards and guidelines. This position will be remote but will often be on-site at various program locations across Ohio to conduct program observations, evaluations, trainings, and other activities across behavioral health and residential treatment programs. Assigned programs may be throughout Ohio and consist of outpatient, center/facility based, and residential treatment environments. Duties are performed in an environment where the employee may be exposed to unpredictable behavior, including but not limited to, physical aggression from individuals supported.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or other human services related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health services, preferably working with individuals with co-occurring IDD/behavioral health conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of ICFIID standards and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for services for behavioral health, developmental disability, and autism services.
  • Ability to teach and train others on the rights of individuals supported, trauma informed care, and regulatory/licensing/certification standards and requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of car insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer).

Responsibilities
