About The Position
The Program Director oversees and administers Veterans Services programs in the Fort Wayne area, including the residential Grant and Per Diem (GPD) program, Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), and the Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP). The director ensures that services align with the mission of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana and meet applicable contract, funding, and accreditation requirements. Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana is an organization serving Ohio and Indiana with more than 1,000 employees and programs intended to help people in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
- Previous supervisory and management experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree.
