This role involves planning, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures, complying with OASAS regulations, and participating in the certification process. The Director is responsible for ensuring clinical and operational support coverage, maintaining on-call accessibility, and managing all personnel actions including hiring, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. They will also oversee record and recording systems, ensure facility cleanliness, maintenance, and security, and act as a consumer advocate. Additionally, the role involves participating in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, planning with other agencies, advising the Chief Program Officer on personnel matters, and ensuring accurate reporting to regulatory agencies. Financial responsibilities include implementing budget and accounting systems, monitoring billing and payroll, and maintaining the program's fiscal condition. The Program Director will also maintain a positive organizational image in the community and participate in job training, education programs, meetings, and committees, staying current with industry knowledge.
