Program Director
About The Position
Beacon Specialized Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to oversee multiple residential programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves leading day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational excellence. The Program Director will provide leadership and support to Care Team Managers and partner with executive leadership to achieve staffing, quality, and organizational goals. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a residential care environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned region (up to 80% day travel).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for multiple residential programs.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Care Team Managers.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Monitor staffing levels, recruitment efforts, and employee development.
- Oversee budgets, payroll, census, and operational performance.
- Review incident reports and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
- Partner with Compliance, HR, and Executive Leadership on investigations and corrective action plans.
- Conduct operational audits and maintain quality standards.
- Support admissions, discharges, individual care planning, and community integration.
