Nurse (RN / LPN) Director of Mental Health
About The Position
We’re hiring a compassionate RN / LPN to join our new Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program, serving older adults in the Imperial, NE community. This is the newest program in the state of Nebraska set to open January 2027 with staff starting in November / December 2025! The role is Program Director and will have 2 direct reports. The setting is an Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program (IOP) serving older adults, ages 65+. The schedule is Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8a-5p, with no call and no weekends. You’ll work alongside a collaborative care team providing compassionate mental health support to older adults. Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or LVN licensed in the state of practice required
- Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing required
- Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.
- Successful completion of a full background check is required for employment.
- At times, this may include drug testing.
Nice To Haves
- Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population.
- Engage with your local community through education (presentations, one-on-one meetings, etc.)
- Referral development through hospital staff, providers, and community resources
- Growing and maintaining patient census
- Ensure compliance through professional and ethical guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
