About The Position

The Program Director oversees the day-to-day operations of a group home, including program planning, supervision of residential staff, budget management, integration of community-based experiences for youth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic services. This role involves working closely with vulnerable individuals to build on their strengths and make a positive impact on their lives. The position offers a dynamic, supportive, and fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional development in the Behavioral Healthcare field. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, educators, therapists, and psychiatrists is a key aspect of the role. The Program Director will have the chance to directly impact and shape the treatment plans of youth and teach essential life skills to at-risk young people.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a residential treatment setting
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience required
  • Ability to complete 2 weeks orientation training, Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, in Rutland

  • Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field preferred
