A global nonprofit that provides trusted biological materials for science and health, ATCC is seeking a Program Director responsible for the planning and execution of a portfolio of complex technical/scientific programs. This role is based in Gaithersburg, MD and works closely with ATCC Federal Solutions leadership to prioritize and sequence programs and projects within organizational capabilities, budgets, and strategic goals, and serves as the primary liaison with program sponsors, customers, and other stakeholders to support development opportunities for program growth and manage new business acquisitions. The Program Director implements best-practice tools and models to facilitate project prioritization and support go/no go threshold decisions within functional units and/or across the enterprise, leads through subordinate managers, contributes to functional/operational strategy, and develops annual business plans to ensure alignment. This role oversees a portfolio of Maryland-based federal programs, ensuring contract compliance, high-quality execution, and stakeholder engagement. This is a hybrid role (4 days/week onsite).
