About The Position

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead operations across multiple residential locations. This role provides leadership and support to Care Team Managers, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and drives operational excellence across all programs. The Program Director oversees assigned Beacon locations to ensure company goals, financial targets, and clinical outcomes are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a residential care setting
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, operations, and staff management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple residential locations
  • Support and supervise Care Team Managers to ensure adequate staffing and high-quality care
  • Monitor program performance, budgets, and clinical effectiveness targets
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing, compliance, and operational priorities
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Review and submit incident reports and ensure timely reporting to agencies
  • Lead responses to audits, licensing reviews, and investigations
  • Conduct ongoing audits and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
  • Partner with recruiting and training teams to maintain full staffing levels
  • Oversee onboarding, orientation, and training compliance
  • Address employee relations issues in collaboration with HR and leadership
  • Support performance management, coaching, and development of leadership staff
  • Manage and promote the DSP leveling program
  • Manage census, payroll costs, and EBITDA targets
  • Support Care Team Managers with budgeting and financial planning
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and attendance reporting
  • Ensure individuals receive quality care, personal support, and skill-building opportunities
  • Monitor documentation including daily logs and medication records (MAR/eMAR)
  • Assist with assessments, placements, and transitions
  • Maintain strong communication with families, teams, and external partners
