About The Position

The Program Director leads social service operations and clinical workflows to ensure full contract compliance, timely service delivery, and comprehensive program reporting. Responsible for end-to-end personnel management, including hiring, staff development, disciplinary actions, and crisis intervention support. Serves as the primary agency liaison to external stakeholders, county partners, and dependency courts to streamline service coordination and maximize referrals, all while maintaining rigorous quality assurance (CQI/TQM) and accreditation standards. This is an outpatient community-based program serving clients (ages 11-18) and providing housing, education, and vocational support, individual and family counseling, and medication management and support services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in child counseling, psychology, social services, vocational counseling, or a related social science field required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of field experience.
  • At least three (3) years of direct care experience in the mental health field.
  • At least one (1) year of management or administrative experience in a mental health or social services organization.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Ph.D. (MFCC) with two (2) years of post-licensure experience.
