About The Position

The Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and quality management of the agency's New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Community-Based Supports (CBS) program. This position oversees program operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and service quality to ensure individuals receive person-centered, high-quality supports in accordance with NJ DDD regulations and agency standards. The Program Director collaborates with support coordinators, families, interdisciplinary teams, and agency leadership to promote positive outcomes, maintain compliance, and support organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Overall leadership, administration, and quality management of the agency's New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Community-Based Supports (CBS) program.
  • Oversight of program operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and service quality.
  • Ensuring individuals receive person-centered, high-quality supports in accordance with NJ DDD regulations and agency standards.
  • Collaboration with support coordinators, families, interdisciplinary teams, and agency leadership.
  • Compliance with New Jersey DDD, Medicaid, HIPAA, and agency policies and procedures.
  • Supervision, mentoring, and evaluation of supervisors, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and administrative staff.
  • Leadership in recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff retention initiatives.
  • Ensuring staffing levels meet participant needs and program requirements.
  • Review and monitoring of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
  • Collaboration with Support Coordinators, families, guardians, behavioral specialists, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Oversight of incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and required follow-up.
  • Monitoring of documentation, progress notes, EVV records, and service delivery.
  • Development and implementation of quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participation in state licensing reviews, accreditation surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Preparation of operational reports, performance metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Management of departmental budgets, productivity, and resource allocation.
  • Resolution of client, family, and employee concerns.
  • Development, implementation, and updating of agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Fostering a positive, person-centered culture.
  • Participation in on-call management and operational support during emergencies or critical incidents.

Responsibilities
