About The Position

The Program Director, Global Clients Data Centers leads day-to-day account strategy and execution for assigned hyperscale and enterprise data center clients across the Americas. This role partners closely with the Vice President, Global Clients Data Centers – Americas to deliver profitable growth, strong client outcomes, and consistent operational performance across a growing portfolio. The Program Director serves as a primary security and operations advisor to client stakeholders and internal leaders, translating regional priorities into scalable, technology-enabled security solutions, disciplined governance, and standard processes across multi-site and multi-country footprints. This leader will begin the role without a dedicated team and will be expected to build the portfolio, operating model, stakeholder rhythm, and future team structure as account scope and business needs mature.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, security, operations, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in data center operations, security services, critical infrastructure, or a related industry.
  • Proven experience supporting complex, multi-site or multi-country security programs.
  • Strong track record of managing strategic client relationships, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and improving operational performance in highly regulated or high-risk environments.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including full P&L ownership for assigned accounts and the ability to manage account financial targets, forecasts, performance metrics, audit readiness, and contract requirements.
  • Practical understanding of physical security and related technology in data center environments, including access control, CCTV, perimeter security, guarding, biometric systems, intrusion detection, and security operations procedures.
  • Domestic and international travel (approximately 25-30% of the time).
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends (when needed) to support global staffing issues, high priority events, urgent client needs, and off-hours incidents.
  • Reliable means of communication.

  • Ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience with data centers or other mission-critical environments is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to technology-enabled service delivery, security operations, incident response, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting renewals, service expansions, pricing discussions, or complex client negotiations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or similar standards is preferred.
  • A passion for travel (and a valid passport) is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide account-level leadership for assigned data center clients across the Americas, helping translate regional strategy into disciplined execution.
  • Establish governance structures, operating cadences, executive business reviews, scorecards, and reporting routines that create clear accountability and visibility across Securitas, branch, partner, and client stakeholders.
  • Manage the day-to-day health of assigned client programs, including full P&L ownership, operational performance, service delivery, financial discipline, risk management, and client satisfaction.
  • Identify recurring issues, drive corrective actions, escalate material risks, and ensure account teams and partners stay aligned to client requirements, global Data Center Group standards, and regional expectations.
  • Build the leadership and operating structure needed to support the work as the portfolio grows.
  • Operate as an individual leader—setting priorities, building stakeholder trust, creating repeatable processes, and developing the case for future team capacity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct or matrixed team members to support portfolio execution, compliance discipline, and client outcomes.
  • Partner across Global Clients Technology, Global Clients Americas, operations, legal, compliance, IT infrastructure, facilities management, and vendor partners to advance technology-enabled security solutions, strengthen program resilience, and support transformation initiatives.
  • Lead incident response, risk mitigation, business continuity planning, and process improvement efforts tied to assigned accounts.
