Thompson Child & Family Focus is a leading provider of child and family services with a continuum of care including Prevention Services, Mental Health Services, and Foster Care, all rooted in trauma-informed practice and evidence-based care. The Program Director will provide operational leadership and oversight for assigned programs, ensuring strong outcomes for children and families while developing the leaders who achieve this success. Success is measured by program quality and client outcomes, team engagement, development, and retention, and financial and operational performance. The role involves working closely with organizational leadership to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field
  • Child Welfare Certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Child Welfare, Dependency, Foster Care, Adoption, Social Work, DCF, or related services
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience within child welfare
  • Strong operational, financial, and people leadership skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environments
  • Experience coaching, developing, and holding teams accountable
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to meet program credentialing requirements
  • Must successfully complete a drug screening and comprehensive background check.
