About The Position
Neuvant House of Lawrence is looking for a caring, energetic Program Director to lead engaging activities for our assisted living and memory care residents. If you enjoy working with seniors and making a difference every day, we'd love to meet you!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Friendly, dependable, organized, and compassionate.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Willing to complete required Kansas activity training after hire (if needed).
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors, assisted living, memory care, recreation, or activities is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead fun, meaningful daily activities for residents.
- Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships.
- Coordinate activity calendars, special events, and outings.
- Communicate with families about resident participation when needed.
- Work with the care team to create a positive, engaging environment.
- Assist with resident care as needed.
- Complete activity documentation and other assigned duties.
