We build experiences that make connections, shift thinking and inspire action. We are currently looking for a Program Design Manager to join our expanding team. The Program Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end event design process, ensuring programs are aligned to client objectives, creative vision, attendee outcomes, and budget from intake and planning, through proposal development and handover. This role serves as the connective tissue between creative, sourcing, content, and program teams, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to the event design process. By coordinating timelines, inputs, dependencies, and decision-making, the Program Design Manager ensures ideas are transformed into cohesive, executable plans that can be confidently delivered. Working closely with key stakeholders, this role helps ensure every design decision supports the overall experience, remains aligned to strategic objectives, and contributes to proposals that are innovative, compelling, and achievable.

  • 5+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, program design, agency, or related environments.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple workstreams, contributors, and deadlines.
  • Experience developing or coordinating creative proposals, presentations, pitch materials, or strategic recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of event design, attendee experience, experiential elements, and program flow.
  • Experience managing budgets or ensuring project alignment to budget constraints.
  • Experience working closely with creative, content, and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake and planning process for programs requiring design support, ensuring all objectives, scope, budget, and timelines are clearly defined.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks across creative, sourcing, content, and program workstreams.
  • Coordinate design decisions to ensure alignment with client objectives, creative vision, budget parameters, and operational realities.
  • Partner with client teams to gather feedback, validate direction, and maintain alignment throughout the design process.
  • Manage the development of creative proposals from concept through final delivery, ensuring all inputs are coordinated and complete.
  • Ensure proposals clearly communicate experience design, intended attendee outcomes, execution approach, and differentiation.
  • Drive alignment across teams to avoid rework, late-stage changes, and downstream execution challenges.
  • Coordinate communication and content development to ensure consistency of messaging across all program deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing learnings, refining processes, and developing tools that strengthen design delivery.
