About The Position

SAIC is seeking a technically strong, hands-on Program Data & Systems Analyst to support a large, complex managed services program. The role focuses on operational data analysis and reporting, ServiceNow, advanced Microsoft Excel, executive-level PowerPoint development, and SharePoint-based information management. The analyst will work with complex or imperfect data, reconcile information across sources, identify discrepancies, investigate workflow and reporting issues, and develop accurate, repeatable solutions. The position translates operational and technical information into clear management insights and polished executive-level deliverables. It is not primarily a project coordinator or administrative PMO role. The successful candidate is a technical power user of Excel, ServiceNow, and PowerPoint, is comfortable with SharePoint and Microsoft 365, and can independently take ambiguous operational problems from analysis through delivery with limited direction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field, and 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Relevant experience in technical program operations, operational reporting, data analysis, IT service management, business systems analysis, or similar work.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with operational data and enterprise business systems to solve complex reporting or process problems.
Must be a US citizen and able to pass a CJIS Background check.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, conditional formatting, data validation, and chart creation.
Strong ability to synthesize data and narratives into clean, professional, executive-ready Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
Power-user working familiarity with ServiceNow, including platform navigation, running reports and filters, viewing records and tickets, and understanding CMDB/ITSM modules or catalog requests.
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 document management, lists, permission structures, and version control.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting complex programs or managed-services environments.
ITIL Foundation certification (v4 or v5).
Experience supporting state, local, or federal government contracts.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain advanced Excel workbooks, dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools using PivotTables, complex formulas, data validation, charts, and other data-analysis techniques.
Use ServiceNow to analyze records, relationships, workflows, reports, dashboards, and operational data across applicable ITSM processes.
Analyze, reconcile, validate, and report operational data from ServiceNow and other program sources for program management and customer reporting.
Identify data inconsistencies, missing information, reporting anomalies, and process issues; investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate ServiceNow data and workflow discrepancies involving RITMs, SCTasks, incidents, changes, configuration items, and related records.
Develop accurate, repeatable, and efficient reporting processes, seeking opportunities to reduce manual data manipulation through standardization, automation, or other tools.
Translate complex operational, technical, and service-performance information into executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, charts, and management summaries.
Support recurring and ad hoc reporting for program leadership, customers, and other stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, consistency, traceability, and professional presentation.
Maintain and organize program information within SharePoint and Microsoft 365, including document libraries, lists, metadata, version control, permissions, and related information-management activities.
Document and analyze operational processes, workflows, handoffs, and dependencies using Visio or similar tools; identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and process execution.
Collaborate with technical teams, service owners, program leadership, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, validate information, resolve reporting or system issues, and support operational improvements.
Provide analytical and technical program support for high-priority activities, deliverables, risks, issues, and management actions as required.
Own assigned operational, reporting, or data-related problems from initial analysis through resolution, quality control, and final delivery.
