About The Position

The Development Data & Systems Analyst is a technical role responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and improving The Obama Foundation’s Salesforce CRM ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Manager of Development Data, the Analyst supports the Development division’s data architecture, donor recognition tracking, and reporting pipelines, including as the Foundation expands its Principal Gifts function. The Analyst leads the Development division’s internal Salesforce data ticketing system, fulfilling custom report requests, resolving user issues, and providing technical support to fundraisers. The role also designs and tests Salesforce workflows for duplicate management, activity tracking, and complex grant reporting, and performs regular database quality-control audits. The Analyst is not a primary gift processor but cross-trains in gift intake and processing to provide backup during peak fundraising periods and PTO coverage.
