About The Position

The Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS) Product Area within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit is seeking an onsite Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3). This position is responsible for supporting internal and external reporting requirements, Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance activities, financial forecasting and reporting, development of Estimates at Completion (EACs), and support of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities. This role is onsite in Tewksbury, MA. Candidates must be able to work onsite and be within commuting distance of the location.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or related business systems, including PRISM, SAP, or AO Reporting.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Experience using advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support program managers and cross-functional teams with financial reporting and internal control activities.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM), FP&A activities, proposal efforts, and financial analysis requirements.
  • Prepare earned value reporting, including cost, schedule, and financial analysis using company systems and processes.
  • Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analysis and reporting.
  • Update financial reports and presentations for program leadership.
  • Develop and support quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs).
  • Process approved Budget Change Requests (BCRs) and maintain associated control system updates.
  • Support monthly FP&A reporting activities.
  • Support financial tool implementations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support contractual Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and maintenance activities.
  • Perform data analysis and variance reporting.
