About The Position

Code2College is seeking a Part-Time Program Coordinator to support its mission of increasing the number of minority and low-income high school students who enter and excel in STEM undergraduate majors and careers. This is a hybrid position with in-person responsibilities for recruitment, events, and classes, supporting students and schools in Elida, Ohio, and across the United States. The role involves supporting virtual and in-person classes, leading student check-ins, assisting with recruitment, and participating in program events.

Requirements

• Must live in the Elida, Ohio area.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work various evenings and weekends required.
• Authorization to work in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of student participants in Elida, Ohio and across the United States, serving as a consistent point of contact throughout their program experience.
• Lead student check-ins, monitor engagement and participation, and provide follow-up and support as needed.
• Support virtual and in-person Code2College classes, including observing classes and helping ensure students have the support they need to participate and succeed.
• Draft and coordinate student-facing communications, reminders, and other program materials.
• Support student recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Track and analyze student-level performance and engagement data to identify meaningful insights and opportunities to improve program effectiveness.
• Support programmatic projects and initiatives, including implementation, coordination, and follow-through.
• Build and maintain relationships with student participants, volunteer instructors, schools, and other stakeholders.
• Help cultivate a strong sense of community within and across Code2College programs.
• Support communication and coordination with program partners and other stakeholders.
• Participate in and support Code2College in-person events, including recruitment events, workshops, promotional events, partner events, and lunch and learns.
• Support event preparation, execution, and follow-up as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
