About The Position

The Program Coordinator will support Harborview Downtown Programs’ Field-Based Team, which works to improve health equity and access to care for people who are unhoused or vulnerably housed. The team embeds providers, nurses, and mental health practitioners at sites across Seattle, including homeless shelters and supportive housing, and includes outreach programs such as Vital, Homeless Palliative Care, Street Medicine, and Mobile Health outreach. The position is physically located at DESC’s Estelle House, a permanent supportive housing complex in Seattle. The coordinator establishes communication and administrative systems for the field-based team and its partner clinics, maintains program resources and documentation, and supports coordination of schedules, timecards, equipment, and reporting. This is a regular, part-time position at 60% FTE (24 hours per week), scheduled Wednesdays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional telework may be available after successful completion of the probationary period.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
Two years of experience in the program specialty, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

Establish open and consistent communication with Field-Based Team staff, sister clinics, and the larger hospital system.
Create consistent staff notification and program reminder systems for projects and deadlines.
Take primary ownership of the online schedule.
Manage timecards using UKG and effort certification reporting.
Develop and maintain systems for tracking team equipment, including cell phones and laptops.
Revise and maintain the program policies and operations manual in consultation with the Clinic Manager and Field-Based Team leaders.
Update and maintain program contacts, the intranet site, schedules, and resources.
Perform other assigned duties.
