About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Coordinator for three of their Campus homes within the PA Adult Services. This role directs the daily operation of assigned residential facilities to ensure quality services that meet the therapeutic, social, emotional, health, and safety needs of the individuals served. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with Center Leadership to oversee assistant coordinators, residential program leaders, and residential staff, ensuring individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment. The position involves ensuring quality programming, regulatory compliance, adherence to policy and procedures, and training/mentoring staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services
• At least (3) years experience working directly with adults with intellectual/ developmental disabilities and/or mental health Diagnoses
• At least one year of supervisory experience required
• Ability to complete eight days of new hire orientation class
• Possess a valid license
• Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing
• Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more
• Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision
• Occasional use of computers and office equipment
• Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes
• Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operation of assigned residential facility to assure quality services that meet the therapeutic, social, emotional, health, and safety needs of the Individuals in accordance with Devereux Philosophy of Care, established center procedures, standards of conduct, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Center Leadership to oversee assistant Coordinator, residential program leaders, and residential staff to ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
• Ensure quality programming, regulatory compliance, adherence to policy and procedures.
• Train and mentor staff.
