About The Position

The Program Coordinator works independently to coordinate daily operations of the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program. Responsibilities include supervising the Veteran Navigator / QMHP and Peer Support Specialist; coordinating Veteran outreach, referrals, screenings, and participant follow-up; monitoring service documentation, data collection, and outcomes; and developing partnerships with VA providers and community organizations. The coordinator collaborates with the Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN) on Veteran engagement, resource events, suicide prevention education, military cultural competency training, and connections to peer support and community services. The position also coordinates staff training and addresses barriers to services. Regional travel and occasional adjusted hours for outreach and events are required. This is a full-time, grant-funded position through September 29, 2027.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social work, human services, or a related field
  • Two years of relevant experience in behavioral health, Veteran services, case management, or program coordination
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to supervise staff
  • Ability to coordinate community services
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to meet reporting deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area
