About The Position

The Wargaming Lab Program Coordinator will provide operational and administrative support for the MIT Security Studies Program (SSP) Wargaming Lab (WGL). This role involves coordinating events, meetings, and seminars, as well as managing day-to-day operational activities. The coordinator will work closely with the co-directors of the Lab to develop, implement, and monitor program and project plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years of events planning and/or project/program management experience
  • Demonstrated success planning and implementing events
  • Ability to coordinate several events and projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office/Outlook and willingness to learn new programs and software as needed
  • Ability to learn and master financial systems
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when working with visitors
