About The Position

Our program serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age, offering Infant, Toddler, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp programs. The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the school's day-to-day activities, overseeing classroom management, implementing age-appropriate programs when necessary, and ensuring educational programs meet all company, state, and accreditation requirements. This role involves maintaining records, generating daily/weekly/monthly reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. By joining the team, the Program Coordinator contributes to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children, upholding a commitment to quality education and care, and supporting children's growth and development.

Requirements

  • Meets state and COA age requirement.
  • Meet state regulations of Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher
  • Maintains state in-service training requirements.
  • Has previous work experience in childcare
  • Has obtained or is completing a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or has a degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the school in daily operations, including classroom management and supervision.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate programs for children as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Organize and manage activities and events, such as field trips and parent conferences.
  • Oversee the use of supplies and materials to maintain an effective learning environment.
  • Serve as the third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
