About The Position

The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing programs for clients and conducting staff and parent training. This role involves creating and implementing language, academic, and non-academic programs using various assessment tools such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, and PEAK. The coordinator also creates, implements, and conducts staff training on Behavior Support Plans, and implements and interprets results from Functional Behavior Assessments and Analyses when required. They will graph and interpret behavior and acquisition programming data, create program materials, and provide performance feedback to supervisors and instructors. The coordinator establishes and maintains behavior support plans and programs for 8-12 clients at a time, collaborates with Program Directors, Program Executive, and the Clinical Director to ensure best practices. They are expected to engage in 1:1 teaching time with each client they are responsible for every week. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the work of practicum students enrolled in Master’s Programs in Applied Behavior Analysis and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and adequately training staff working with assigned clients. All salaried staff members are expected to volunteer annually for at least one fundraising event benefiting BCA.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Must have experience using various assessment tools such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, or PEAK.
  • Willingness to complete and have a negative TB test.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to log in to data/billing applications & input necessary information.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements to be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Kentucky.
  • Ability to complete Safe Crisis Management, CPR, and First-Aid training (training provided by BCA).

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst preferred.
  • Experience working with children and young adults with autism and related disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the work of practicum students and RBTs while adequately training staff working with assigned clients to implement the behavior plans and programs they create.
