By joining our Division of Driver's Licensing as a Program Coordinator in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to provide high-level professional administrative support to internal staff and leadership related to an agency's business operations.

Requirements

  • Experience with phone and face-to-face customer service.
  • Experience with collecting money and providing a service.
  • Experience with data management in processing systems.
  • Experience providing training to subordinates.
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional experience in management or administration.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.
  • Administrative or business experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze complex applications by screening original legal documents presented for vetting Identity to determine eligibility to obtain identification by ID, Permit, or Driver's License.
  • Assist customers in reviewing and processing any documents acceptable to provide a service in the KY Driver's License Information System in determining a driver's status for issuance.
  • Provide professional customer service by phone; email, and face-to-face services.
  • Process fees and complete daily reconciliation reports.
