About The Position

The Program Coordinator for the Laboratory for Nuclear Science - AI+Science Initiative will coordinate and perform operational and administrative activities for the MIT AI+Science Initiative within the School of Science. This includes managing administration, finance, communications, outreach, and other functions. The role also involves providing advanced administrative support for the Director of the initiative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years of project/program management experience
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing high-quality activities, programs and services
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others, while also working autonomously
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and respond to inquiries and requests related to the work area in a timely manner
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional attitude, maturity, and strong customer service skills
  • Must be able to use judgment and recognize the need for a high level of confidentiality
  • Impeccable attention to detail and follow-through on tasks
