About The Position

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) provides education, advocacy, and support services to foster families, extended family caregivers, and the children and youth in their care. Our work strengthens homes, enhances caregiver capacity, and contributes to positive outcomes for young people across the province. We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to support the administration and delivery of the In Home Support Program. This position plays a key role in ensuring the program operates efficiently and consistently while maintaining high standards of service. Make a meaningful impact every day. Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 education; post-secondary education in Human Services, Business Administration or Human Resources is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with ADP Payroll is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and professionalism.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License
  • Clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment, screening, and on boarding of In Home Support staff.
  • Prepare, administer, and maintain program contracts.
  • Conduct orientations for new families referred to the program.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee and contract files.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the In Home Support Program, as well as special projects as required.
  • Provide exceptional communication and customer service to caregivers, staff, and the Ministry of Social Services.
  • Travel occasionally within the province and work non-standard hours as needed.
