ESSENTIAL DUTIES Lead a one-hour robotics and coding session each week for six weeks at a Fayette County elementary school (Meadowthorpe Elementary). Engage students in hands-on activities aligned with Girl Scouts Technology and Innovation badges. The facilitator must enjoy working with children, communicate effectively with the program team, complete a required background check, and be willing to participate in training. This is a one-time stipend opportunity. Engage girls in grades 2nd - 3rd in Girl Scouts Technology and Innovative skill-building activities. Deliver 2 Technology and Innovative badges at 1.5 hour intervals for 6 weeks / one day a week at Meadowthorpe Elementary. Girls will earn 2 Girl Scout badges (Programming and Designing Robots) Assess program impact and refine content. Compensation: $500 One-Time Grant Stipend Payment Timeline: October 14th - November 18th, 2026 (Wednesday only). Weekly tracking of hours. 2:30-4:00 PM. Other: Project a positive and professional image of Girl Scouting. Provide and ensure professional, superior customer service to all internal and external customers, members, volunteers, staff and other community contacts. Ensure absolute security and confidentiality of all Council records and maintain professionalism when handling sensitive information. Promote and support Council programs.
